Craftsmanship
A masterpiece begins long before the first stroke. Rejecting the transience of modern pre-fabricated materials, I claim absolute sovereignty over every physical layer of my work. From the hand-crafted wooden stretchers to the traditional application of rabbit skin glue and hand-prepared gesso, each canvas is an architectural endeavor.
I exclusively employ the peerless pigments of Old Holland and the finest linens from Claessens, ensuring a chromatic depth that only the Baroque technique can summon. By honoring these ancestral methods—preparing the ground as the masters did—I ensure that my work resists the erosion of time. Here, art is a structural commitment: hand-built, hand-primed, and destined for centuries.
